We have recently changed how we do things: a member of the department queried why we needed two nominations for a new NZSA member application. After discussion amongst the Executive Committee, we have now stopped this requirement. A check of vocational registration at the Medical Council by our Membership Manager will now be all that is required.

1. Full $1,658.29 (NZD), prorated to $1,243.72 (NZD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Active members will be practising Anaesthetists in New Zealand. Membership will include subscription to the AIC Journal. You may be eligible to claim these fees back from your employer and if you work in Private Practice, these are tax deductible.

2. Trainee - Free Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Trainee members will be practising Anaesthetists in New Zealand who are working towards a postgraduate qualification in Anaesthesia.

3. Trainee (with Journal access) $358.03 (NZD), prorated to $268.52 (NZD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Trainee members will be practising Anaesthetists in New Zealand who are working towards a postgraduate qualification in Anaesthesia.

4. Associate $193.22 (NZD), prorated to $144.92 (NZD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Associate Members will be persons other than Anaesthetists practising in New Zealand, who would normally be Ordinary Members. This criterion can be extended to include non-anaesthetic pain physicians with the approval of the Executive Committee. They can also be anaesthetists in fellowships overseas. Associate members will receive Society membership correspondence, including Society publications such as the magazine, all will be able to attend Scientific meetings. They will not be eligible to vote or hold Executive office or form part of the quorum at meetings of members.

Associate (with Journal access) $551.25 (NZD), prorated to $413.44 (NZD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Associate Members will be persons other than Anaesthetists practising in New Zealand, who would normally be Ordinary Members. They will not be eligible to vote or hold Executive office or form part of the quorum at meetings of members.
